- A smartphone with a working camera, and a laptop or desktop able to run free editing software. No prior experience.

- Deliver correctly for each platform.
- Work to a client brief and revise professionally.

- Write a brief, script and shot list.
- Light a subject using daylight and one inexpensive source.
- Record usable audio and know why it matters more than picture.
- Edit in free software: cut, trim, transitions, titles, colour, audio levels.
- Add subtitles and export for YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
- Deliver a finished piece to a brief, on time.
