- AI for Everyone, or equivalent understanding. Comfortable with spreadsheets and arithmetic. No programming experience needed — Python is taught here.

- Find and collect data suitable for a question.
- Clean data and document what you changed.
- Apply the statistics that most analysis actually needs.
- Use Python to analyse data reproducibly.
- Visualise findings honestly and clearly.
What you will be able to do
- Write Python for loading, filtering and summarising data.
- Use pandas for cleaning and reshaping.
- Calculate and interpret mean, median, spread, distribution and correlation.
- Explain why correlation does not establish cause.
- Produce charts that inform rather than decorate.
- Describe what a machine learning model does and when one is appropriate.
